Chân gà xào cay thơm với chân gà luộc giòn sần sật ngấm đều vị nước sốt cay cay vừa, mặn ngọt rất tuyệt. Thích hợp làm món ăn chơi hoặc lai lai cùng bè bạn.
Chân gà mua về đem rửa sạch với 1 muỗng canh giấm và 1 muỗng canh muối cho hết mùi hôi, chặt bỏ phần móng chân gà sau đó chặt chân gà làm 2 hoặc nhiều đoạn tùy thích.
Gừng đem cạo hoặc gọt sạch vỏ rồi đập dập. Tỏi và ớt sừng băm nhỏ. Đun sôi nồi nước với gừng đập dập và ít muối. Đem chân gà luộc chín rồi vớt ngâm vào tô nước đá khoảng 5 phút rồi vớt ra để ráo nước.
Đun nóng 2 muỗng canh dầu ăn trong chảo, cho tỏi băm vào phi cho thơm rồi cho ớt băm vào cùng. Sau đó, cho tất cả chân gà đã luộc vào chảo và nêm nước mắm, dầu hào, hạt nêm, bột ớt, đường sau đó đảo đều và xào khoảng 1 phút cho chân gà ngấm gia vị là tắt bếp.
